Career Advising
One of the most important job qualifications for many employers is an ability to communicate well in speaking and writing, to think critically and to understand cultures other than one’s own. Students who major in French and Italian develop just such skills.
The department cooperates with the Career and Community Learning Center to offer information sessions with alumni speakers on career options for French majors.

This is a unique opportunity to spend a semester to a year in France with a monthly stipend, to master the French language through linguistic immersion, and to gain valuable teaching experience.
